For many years we have been walking around with the idea of weaving the 21st<\/sup> Century Gobelins. The fantastic technique of Gobelin making was originally done by hand around 1650, producing some of the most detailed and precious pieces of textile ever made. With the combination of our craftsmanship and the specific qualities that our machines have, we are able to produce fabrics with the same level of detail and prestige. Our machines have 12.500 precision point on a 150cm width, which gives us about 2,5 million points per woven centimetre to work with. Creating unique possibilities for<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Unique jacquard woven tapestry royal palace<\/strong><\/p>\n We worked for example with Scheltens&Abbenes on a\u00a0 unique tapestry for the Blauwe Salon in the Huis Ten Bosch Royal Palace .. where we translated the HiRes photo’s taken by Scheltens&Abbenes into a ultra high definition weave. We can weave our Ultra High Definition quality right next to more tactile textures, to create very rich and textured textiles.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 130meter long jacquard woven curtain<\/strong><\/p>\n Another example is our co-creation with Inside Outside (Petra Blaise).
